Job Summary
Lead engaging after-school dance sessions at local partner schools, teaching choreography and movement techniques through structured activities. Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment while encouraging creativity, confidence, and teamwork. Coordinate with school staff and Concorde program contacts. Possible topics include hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, or cultural dance styles; focus on rhythm, musicality, movement coordination, basic dance technique, and group routines. Roles involve leading sessions, adapting activities to student needs, and preparing short routines for demonstrations or school events.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 60 college credits completed
- Experience with dance instruction, choreography, or performance
- Experience working with youth (schools, studios, camps, or after-school programs)
- Strong communication and group facilitation skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
