Part-Time After-School Dance Instructor

Lead engaging after-school dance sessions at partner schools, delivering structured enrichment lessons in hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, or cultural dance. Responsibilities include teaching choreography, maintaining a positive classroom environment, fostering creativity and teamwork, coordinating with school staff, and adapting activities to student needs. Classes typically meet once per week for about one hour, with potential for multiple programs per week based on availability. Topics include rhythm, musicality, movement coordination, technique, choreography, and performance skills; instructors prepare short routines for school demonstrations and events. Minimum 60 college credits and prior dance instruction/experience with youth are required.
