Job Summary
Lead engaging after-school dance sessions at partner schools, delivering structured enrichment lessons that build rhythm, coordination, confidence, and creative expression through diverse dance styles. Responsibilities include teaching choreography and movement techniques using weekly plans, maintaining a positive and orderly classroom, encouraging teamwork and creativity, and coordinating with school staff and Concorde program contacts. Ideal candidates have prior dance instruction or performance experience, a track record with youth audiences, strong communication and facilitation skills, reliability, and professionalism; coursework or certifications are a plus. This is a flexible, part-time role with 1–4 hours of weekly instruction and multiple programs possible per week, typically serving students after school for 10-week program blocks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 60 college credits completed
- Experience with dance instruction, choreography, or performance
- Experience working with youth (schools, studios, camps, or after-school programs)
- Strong communication and group facilitation skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
