Job Summary
Lead engaging after-school dance sessions for students, teaching choreography and movement techniques through structured activities. Deliver enrichment classes in hip-hop, jazz, contemporary, or cultural styles, using weekly plans and adapting activities to student needs. Foster rhythm, coordination, confidence, teamwork, and performance skills, coordinating with school staff and Concorde program contacts. Classes typically meet once per week for about one hour, with some instructors teaching multiple programs per week; 1–4 hours per week, 10-week program blocks. Compensation starts at $50+ per instructional hour, with flexibility based on assignment and instructor experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 60 college credits completed
- Experience with dance instruction, choreography, or performance
- Experience working with youth (schools, studios, camps, or after-school programs)
- Strong communication and group facilitation skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
