Job Summary
Part-time Adult Education ESL Coordinator/Instructor directs and evaluates learning experiences for adult ESL students (in-person and virtual when necessary), manages the ESL classroom, ensures proper use of materials and equipment, translates policies into practice, prepares and evaluates instructional materials, maintains records and submits data timely, coordinates new student registration, monitors posttest data and inventory, administers assessments, participates in ESL team meetings, supportive of grant monitoring/reporting, and assists in curriculum development and training of instructors. Requires SC teacher certification or Bachelor’s degree with ESL experience; strong communication, organizational, and digital skills (Office 365, Zoom/Teams, Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
Required Qualifications
- Current SC teacher certification or Bachelor’s degree with prior ESL teaching experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Digitally literate with working knowledge of Office 365, Zoom/Teams, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
