Job Summary
Conduct speech-language pathology services including screening, evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, and re-assessment. Perform specific assessments, document results, and explain findings to patients and families while incorporating them into goal setting. Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and consult with healthcare professionals as needed. Complete discharge planning, follow-up care, and accurate documentation of patient care activities. Manage an accurate schedule, meet productivity expectations, and demonstrate flexibility for patient access. Pursue continuing education and serve as a clinical instructor to assign students. Assist with orientation and mentoring of new staff, students, and volunteers.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology of an accredited school of Speech Language Pathology
- Completion of clinical fellowship year (CFY)
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland
- American Speech Language Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence
