Job Summary
Enter deposit payments and maintain garnishments, benefit deductions, and tax updates accurately. Investigate discrepancies in payroll data and support weekly payroll processing while maintaining employee file documentation. Organize and maintain invoices, supporting documents, and accounting records in compliance with internal controls. Provide backup support to Accounts Payable for invoice entry and vendor communication. Ensure confidentiality for sensitive employee and financial information while performing administrative duties as assigned. Complete an OSHA 10-hour training within 60 days of starting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to complete an OSHA 10 hour within 60 days of starting at hth companies
- Ability to lift, carry, and move files, boxes, or office supplies up to 15 lbs. on an occasional basis
- Ability to use standard office equipment (computer, scanner, copier, multi-function printer) in a safe and controlled manner
- Ability to perform document reviews and data entry with sustained attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety protocol and to report any incident, unsafe act, or unsafe condition immediately to the supervisor
- Ability to remain seated at a workstation for extended periods while performing data entry and document processing
- Ability to read, analyze, and address basic payroll/accounting data or situations
- Ability to work independently

Desired Qualifications
- Additional coursework in Accounting, Business, or Office Administration
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in an accounting, payroll, or administrative support role
