Job Summary
Answer incoming calls from members to provide information on products and services, investigate and resolve complaints regarding account status, and cross-sell products based on member needs. Research and resolve member problems by acting as the liaison between departments, while maintaining positive relationships through careful listening and respectful communication. Handle inquiries about various credit union services, conferring with management for decisions outside standard operating guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (general studies)
- General Education Degree (GED)
- One (1) year Member/Customer Service
- Attendance and punctuality
- Must be able to lift and/or move files and equipment up to 15 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift/move up to 25 pound objects
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, keyboards or controls
- Must be able to talk and hear
- Must be able to occasionally stand
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to stoop or kneel
- Must have close vision
- Must be able to adjust focus
- Must be able to view a computer screen for extended periods of time
- Must successfully complete an electronic assessment
- Must be available for Mon, Tues, Wed, & Fri: 8:30 am - 2:00pm
- Must be available for Thurs: 8:00am - 2:00pm
- Must be available for One day remote (weekly)
- Must be able to work part time
- Must be able to work in Baltimore, MD
- Must be able to work in downtown Baltimore
- Must be able to handle parking or MTA subsidy conditions
Desired Qualifications
- ASR I experience
- Eighteen (18) months Call Center
- ASR II experience
- Two (2) years Call Center
- Strong computer application skills
- Strong oral/written communication skills
- Must be results oriented
- Quick learner
- Motivated to be a consistent performer
