Job Summary
Create a learning environment balancing challenges and support for Academy players while delivering the NYCFC game model and methodology. Plan, execute, and review daily training sessions and match preparations using periodization models to enhance player understanding. Collaborate with staff and stakeholders to support Individual Development Plans with actionable feedback, ensuring timely input into Academy platforms like SmartaBase. Adhere to all Competition Guidelines and represent the Club positively across all engagements.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years experience coaching youth academy level
- USSF 'B or A' license – minimum
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of Microsoft office; PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of tactical periodization and how to implement it
- Ability to comply with applicable child safety policies provided to applicants by NYCFC
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as necessary
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
