Job Summary
Part-time, 1:1 academic tutoring for a 4th-grade student focusing on math, writing, and executive function skills. Deliver structured instructional sessions Mon–Thu 3:30–6:30 PM in Alamo, CA, with 12 guaranteed hours per week. Design and implement a 4th-grade curriculum tailored to Jake’s gaps, provide weekly written progress summaries, and maintain proactive communication with the family. Requires teaching credential or active education degree or equivalent background; strong knowledge of 4th-grade math and experience delivering individualized instruction; ability to design student-specific curricula and track measurable progress; comfort working with ADD/ADHD. Preferred: Spanish bilingual and prior K–5 teaching experience. This is a W-2, part-time role with compensation of $38–$45 per hour and guaranteed hours. Required Qualifications
- Teaching credential, active education degree, or equivalent professional teaching background
- Strong working knowledge of 4th grade curriculum, with emphasis on elementary math instruction
