Job Summary
Part-time A&P Mechanic responsible for maintaining aircraft to FAA/CSA AIR standards, including assigning/monitoring tasks to mechanics, providing technical assistance, ensuring training status, performing quality control, and maintaining accurate paperwork. Requires Airframe and Power Plant License, knowledge of FAA regulations, blueprints, IPC, SRM, MM, and other maintenance documentation; ability to operate aircraft systems, run engine tests, and perform heavy physical tasks. Must have High School diploma or equivalent, a valid driver license, and proficient English. Work in a shop environment with occasional travel; adherence to PPE and safety policies; maintain legality, safety and reliability of aircraft; report daily status and hours utilization; willingness to perform other duties as requested. Required Qualifications
- Airframe and Power Plant License
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver license
- Good command of the English language
- Ability to operate aircraft systems
- Experience with FAA regulations and maintenance documentation
- Familiarity with MM, IPC, SRM and other manufacturers repair/troubleshooting docs
- Knowledge of blueprints and task cards
- Ability to perform engine run-ups and trim engines
