Part Time 50/50 Sales Rep

Job Summary
Proactively approach fans before and during Orlando Magic home games and select Solar Bears games to explain and promote the 50/50 raffle program. Accurately process ticket sales using handheld electronic devices, communicate the Orlando Magic Youth Foundation's mission, and meet individual sales goals outlined by the Raffle Manager. Provide exceptional customer service by answering fan inquiries with professionalism and enthusiasm while utilizing persuasive techniques to maximize funds raised for youth-focused nonprofits. Represent the organization with a positive, team-oriented attitude in a fast-paced, loud environment. Requires a high school diploma or GED, reliability, and the ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Approximately 3.5 to 4 hours per shift at the Kia Center, with a minimum commitment of 21 Magic home games and half of Solar Bears games. Interviews begin mid-August with an anticipated start date of mid-September.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the duration of a shift
- Ability to frequently go up and down stairs
- Must be able to maintain high levels of enthusiasm and energy while interacting with a diverse fan base in a fast-paced, loud environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
- Minimum commitment of 21 Orlando Magic home games
- Availability for approximately half of the Solar Bears home games
- Successful completion of pre-employment screenings including a background check and drug screen
