Job Summary
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will assist individuals with activities of daily living, including personal care such as bathing and grooming. Your role includes administering medications, advocating for individuals in community settings, and building supportive relationships. Ideal candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and a commitment to serving those with significant needs. This part-time role requires a flexible schedule on 2nd shifts, including weekends, with an hourly pay rate of $20. Candidates holding active MAP certification will receive a $250 onboarding bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Active MAP certification
- Ability to complete medication administration training
- Must have a vehicle for work use and current driver's license
- Must complete and pass background record screening process
Desired Qualifications
- Current First Aid, CPR and MAP certification preferred
- Experience working with individuals with dementia or behavioral complexities
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be flexible to work a 2nd shift schedule that includes weekends
