Job Summary
Support the parts department by purchasing parts from manufacturers and suppliers, acquiring parts from other branches to maintain inventory, processing external and internal parts orders (invoicing, updating inventory records, verifying customer credit, and shipping parts), and advising management on parts activities and future trends affecting department efficiency. Maintain current parts manuals, catalogs, literature, and price lists for all equipment sold. Strong customer service, teamwork, and communication skills are essential in this safety-sensitive role.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- 2+ years of retail exposure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Heavy equipment knowledge is preferred
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
