Part Racker - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Part Racker on 2nd shift responsible for determining order of product to rack/unrack, assessing size and gravity to size baskets/racks, loading into wash baskets by hand without damaging features, and ensuring proper separation using rack bars, plastic mesh, and foam. Assists with staging in proper areas, moves completed work to shipping or next operation, drains oil from drip pans into collection tanks, and uses floor scrubber and vacuum to clean floors. May assist in tank change operations requiring PPE and Confined Space procedures, including tank filtering when trained. On-site role in Indianapolis, IN; candidate must be able to push/pull heavy carts, lift awkward shapes, stand long periods, and maintain positive working relationships. Forklift certification may be required. PPE usage is required. Knowledge or training in cleaning processes and chemicals used is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification if required
- Ability to push and pull heavy carts to proper area in building, lifting and positioning of possibly awkward shapes and sizes, and ability to stand on feet for long periods
- Demonstrated ability to solve racking issues to maximize pieces in wash basket or rack
- Demonstrated knowledge of or training on cleaning processes and chemicals used
- Willingness to use PPE when required
