Job Summary
Operate tumbling and heat treat equipment to deburr, clean, and prepare firearm components for assembly or coating. Apply protective oils, mask parts for Cerakote, and perform surface preparation while maintaining quality and accuracy standards. Wash, clean, and inspect upper receivers and suppressor components before shipment, ensuring all parts are free of contaminants. Follow established work instructions, complete production documentation, and report maintenance concerns or quality issues. Safely operate production machinery, perform basic equipment inspections, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Stand, walk, and lift materials up to 50 pounds throughout the day in a manufacturing setting with exposure to oils, heat, and noise.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
- Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements
- Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection
- Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple manufacturing processes
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required
