Job Summary
Provide skilled nursing services to clients in Broward County in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and agency policy. Perform comprehensive assessments of client status, develop individualized Plans of Care, and provide skilled interventions to achieve realistic outcomes. Administer medications, teach clients within their home environment, and report significant status changes to the physician and team. Maintain legible client records, participate in team meetings, and initiate actions to improve care quality while promoting safety and infection control. Document all observations and assessments systematically per agency guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
- Licensed driver with automobile insured in accordance with state and/or Agency requirements and in good repair
- Good driving record
- Current CPR certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- BSN, PHN preferred
- Minimum of two years of home care experience preferred
- Experience with dementia/Alzheimer's patients strongly preferred
