Job Summary
Part Design Engineer responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models for thermoformed packaging, collaborating with prototyping/shop teams to evaluate prototypes and identify design improvements, conducting basic tests to ensure design and quality compliance, applying good manufacturing practices, redesigning packages per customer requests, and preparing/maintaining technical drawings, design specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum education: related drafting courses in another field of study
- One year of work experience in drafting or mechanical systems
- CAD familiarity
- Computer literacy
