Part and Full Time Hotel Maintenance Technician

Job Summary
Respond to maintenance requests involving guest rooms, public areas, and hotel equipment. Perform preventive maintenance inspections and scheduled tasks, then troubleshoot and complete basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical repairs. Assist with PTAC unit maintenance, repair locks and door hardware, and handle painting, drywall, and furniture work. Inspect rooms for safety concerns, document completed repairs, and communicate professionally with guests in occupied areas. Maintain organized work areas and assist with grounds projects as assigned. Work full-time or part-time with a flexible schedule, lifting up to 50 pounds and performing duties indoors and outdoors.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of maintenance or repair work
- High school diploma or related vocational training
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, a building management programme and/or any other reporting tools like Quore, Canary, Opera
- Working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical and preventative maintenance procedures
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and climb ladders
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to safely perform physical maintenance duties throughout the hotel
- Can Do Attitude
- Great communication skills
- Warm, welcoming and easy to talk to
Desired Qualifications
- CPO certification – A Certified Pool Operator license
- HVAC Certification - A Certification in HVAC/PTAC/VTAC
- Experience with Onity or Onity RFID
- Experience with Opera PMS
- Experience with Quore
