Job Summary
Conduct return-to-service approvals for aircraft and engines by completing FAA Form 8130-3 and 337s, logging work, and verifying compliance with Manufacturer's Instructions for Continued Airworthiness. Perform preliminary, hidden-damage, and final inspections on civil aviation articles, oversee in-process quality checks, and issue "OK to Close" authorizations for components. Manage work order lifecycle, review production control packages, and validate maintenance logs against 14 CFR Part 135 and CAMP/AAIP programs. Record failure data, support continuous improvement initiatives, and supervise FAA applications for Airworthiness Certificates and Ferry Permits. Create equipment lists, conduct internal and AMC safety audits, and ensure all tasks adhere to regulatory and company policies. Requires A&P certificate, FAA Inspection Authorization, and technical knowledge of Bell, Airbus, and Textron aircraft.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- three to five years' technical rotor wing experience and/or training
- Technical knowledge of the following aircraft (in order of importance): Bell 407 and Airbus AS350 / EC130 series, Airbus EC-135 Series, Airbus EC-145 Series, Bell 429, Bell 412 Series, Leonardo A-109 Series, Leonardo A119 Series, Textron King Air, and Sikorsky S60/S70 derivatives
- Technical knowledge of aircraft, appliances, and processes on the FAA part 145 Operations Specification
- Previous experiences in a FAA Certified Repair Station
- Proficient with FAR's and ability to perform complex research of Federal Regulations
- Commitment to airworthiness and qualify of aircraft parts approved for return to service

- Must be able to work autonomously and to prioritize tasks
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A&P Certificate required
