Job Summary
Part 1 Architectural Assistant placement in Victoria, London. Work on retrofit and other projects across prime residential, hospitality and offices sectors. Responsibilities include drafting and amending initial feasibility designs, assisting with planning, technical and working drawings, delivering presentations and reports, site inspections and quality control, coordinating with consultants and updating architectural information, and assisting with project document control. Requires UK-recognised Part 1 degree or equivalent, proven design skills, hand-drawing/presentation ability, knowledge of low energy design and PassivHaus, retrofit experience, Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft and Adobe, knowledge of UK regulations, strong communication and teamwork, ability to meet deadlines, and a proactive attitude toward wider practice groups and activities.
Required Qualifications
- A UK recognised Part 1 architectural degree or equivalent qualification
- Proven design skills
- A flair for hand drawing and presentation
- An understanding of low energy design
- PassivHaus knowledge
- Experience in retrofit
- Experience in Revit
- Fluency in Microsoft and Adobe packages
- Knowledge of codes, practice standards, and industry expectations
- Knowledge of UK legal and statutory regulations and processes
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work to deadlines
- A proactive attitude, and a willingness to contribute to wider practice groups and activities
