Job Summary
Maintain a neat, clean appearance in all public areas of the Hotel, including hallways, lobbies, and dining rooms. Dust and clean furniture, empty trash, vacuum, and empty ash trays. Clean ladies' rooms, finish late checkout rooms, and periodically help clean other guest rooms. Report any necessary repairs and communicate with guests. Perform other duties as assigned. Considerable walking and some heavy lifting are required. Work includes 1st shift with varying hours, weekends, and holidays, with two days off based on seniority. Proper footwear is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age older
- To better accommodate the needs of our guests, this position is available for Male only
- Considerable walking involved with some heavy lifting and pushing required
- Must be able to communicate with guests
- Ability to work independently and be motivated
- Normal working hours will be 1st shift (hours vary depending upon housecount); weekends and holidays
- Two days off will vary
- Will be working around cleaning chemicals
- This is a union position and the work schedule will be based on seniority. The candidate must be able to meet scheduled requirements which will most likely require evening and weekend hours
