Job Summary
Collaborate with the engineering team to complete assigned projects, ensuring clarity of communication and exceptional attention to detail and quality of finish. Assist location maintenance crews with carpentry-related issues and questions while adhering to company policies and supporting operational goals. Work inside and outside buildings across Glacier National Park and Xanterra Managed properties, including potential on-call rotation during opening and closing periods. This seasonal role from August through late-October 2026 requires minimum three years of remodel carpentry experience and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years Remodel Carpentry experience
- Must possess a current and valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Ability to obtain DOT license
- Ability to obtain EPA RRP Lead Certification
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions
- Must be able to walk distances over uneven terrain
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders in all types of weather conditions
- Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 51 pounds
- Must be able to bend, stretch, reach, kneel, and crawl for extended periods of time
- Must be able to work safely with required chemicals, tools, and equipment
- Valid US driver's license
- Must be available for weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Must be available to stay on the east side of Glacier during opening and closing (project season)
Desired Qualifications
- Job shop or cabinetry shop experience
- Experience in Finish Carpentry
- Experience in Punchlist carpentry
