Job Summary
Support students in the classroom for 3.75 hours daily across an 182-day school year. Perform other duties as assigned while maintaining cooperative relationships with employees and students. Establish and maintain positive interactions within the learning community. Bilingual and biliterate skills in Spanish are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to completion of the twelfth grade
- Two years of college study
- An associate's or higher degree
- A passing score on the District reading, writing, and math assessment
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions
- Knowledge of and experience with computers
- Knowledge of business English, spelling and mathematics
- Some knowledge of office practices and procedures
- Type at a working rate speed
- Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with fellow employees
- Ability to get along well with students
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish
