Job Summary
Plan, promote, coordinate, and execute parks and recreation programs and activities while supervising contract, volunteer, and part-time personnel. Maintain required forms including event permits, facility inspections, inventory lists, and attendance reports. Conduct program surveys, resolve work-related problems, and handle patron complaints. Present programs such as music, dance, art, and sports. Manage cash handling, concession stands, and ticket collection. Operate computerized ticketing systems, inventory management software, and financial systems. Transport employees, adults, and children to recreational facilities. Possess a valid driver's license. Work no more than 29 hours per week in year-round positions or during the seasonal period from April 15 to October 15.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Possession of a valid Driver License (Operator)
- Eligible for rehire (if former employee)
- Pass a criminal history background check
- Pass a drug test
- Complete Level 4 Security Awareness Training
- Pass an online certification test for security awareness
