Job Summary
Maintenance Crew Member responsible for mowing, trimming, landscaping, refuse collection, and maintenance of park facilities including fences, signs, shelters, and playground equipment. Hands-on outdoor work with lifting up to 50 lbs; ability to work independently or as part of a crew in an outdoor environment. Requires valid driver’s license. Hours May–September with weekend and holiday work; based in Plainfield, IL. Competitive pay: $20/hour with perks such as a free pool or fitness membership.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age 18.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Demonstrated experience in parks maintenance or related grounds experience preferred.
- Knowledge of accident prevention and precautions applicable to maintenance operations.
- Practical knowledge of mechanized equipment and tools in maintenance operations.
