Job Summary
Maintenance Technician for Burleigh County parks, fairgrounds, and facilities responsible for routine manual and semi-skilled tasks, safety monitoring of visitors/campers, interaction with the public, supervising contractors for mowing and trimming, and operating hand/power tools and light equipment. Duties include inspecting parking lots and docks, performing repairs and cleaning of park facilities, landscaping, tree trimming, litter pickup, reporting maintenance needs, ensuring park safety, and assisting highway maintenance crews with general labor and equipment operation as needed. Requires commuting to park sites in Bismarck, ND; duties emphasize safety, customer service, tool operation, and coordination of contracted services. Qualifications include 18+ years old, HS diploma/GED, 1 year of related manual labor experience, valid ND driver's license, and passing pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- One (1) year of experience in general building maintenance, landscaping, or related manual labor
- Valid North Dakota driver's license and a clean driving record
