Job Summary

Receive incoming aircraft parts, verify quantities, inspect for damage, and check documentation for accuracy. Conduct market searches for material pricing and availability, then quote and fulfill incoming part requests in a timely manner. Issue parts, tools, and supplies to maintenance personnel while maintaining accurate inventory records using software. Ensure parts are stored in appropriate, labeled locations and conduct regular cycle counts to track usage and report low inventory levels. Coordinate with vendors for orders, returns, and warranties, and assist with shipping duties including packaging and labeling for outbound shipments. Maintain compliance with FAA regulations regarding traceability and shelf life, while assisting with documentation such as Material Safety Data Sheets and Airworthiness Release Tags.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States of America
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years proven experience in a similar position
  • Basic computer skills
  • Experience with inventory software (eBis)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to move from department and buildings to interact with others
  • Ability to handle objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or 5-10 pounds frequently
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Ability to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Operate a telephone requiring oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication
  • Ability to exchange accurate information with customers and vendors
  • Ability to exercise good judgement in determining the most appropriate response or action in a variety of situations
  • Demonstrated ability to use computer programs such as the Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite products
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Demonstrated attention to detail, professional attitude, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Recording and managing incoming/outgoing shipments
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy via cycle counting
  • Handling, storing, and delivering aeronautical parts, including electro-sensitive devices
  • Coordinating with maintenance teams for repair and replenishment

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with aviation regulations (e.g., FAA) is a strong asset
  • Additional technical training
