Job Summary
Conduct parking patrols of designated areas on foot, assess compliance with NSW Road Rules and traffic regulations, and take appropriate enforcement action in accordance with Council policies and legislation. Interact professionally with internal and external customers and the community to resolve issues without conflict. Operate under a rostered shift-basis as part of the Rangers Compliance Team, maintaining a valid Class C driver's licence at all times. This role supports Randwick City Council's service to the eastern beaches of Sydney, requiring strong customer focus and the ability to work effectively with minimal direct supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Strong customer focus
- Ability to understand and apply the NSW Road Rules and other relevant legislation, policies and requirements in an accountable, accurate and professional manner
- Experience/ability to work effectively and accurately with minimum direct supervision and undertake responsibilities within allocated time frames, instructions and requirements
- A valid Class C drivers' licence at all times
- Employment in this position is subject to the successful completion of a Criminal History Check with a result of no relevant adverse findings
