Job Summary
Patrol and monitor parking lots to ensure only authorized vehicles are parked while enforcing preapproved guidelines by issuing citations for non-paid or time-expired parkers. Operate and maintain revenue control equipment, manage lot signage by repairing and assembling signs, and perform general lot maintenance including cleaning trash and signs. Handle customer service interactions, cash transactions, and report filing for violations while troubleshooting parking meters when applicable. Perform seasonal tasks such as snow removal by shoveling, salting, and operating a snow thrower. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- A valid driver's license
- A clean driving record
- Weekends are availability is required
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for the length of the shift
- Ability to operate motor vehicle
- Ability to exercise initiative and sound judgment and to react with discretion under varying conditions
- Ability to establish and maintain effective and appropriate relationships with the public, agencies and other employees
- Ability to log information and make mathematical computations quickly and accurately
- Good written and communication skills, both in writing and verbally
- Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
