Parking Operations Manager

Job Summary
Oversee operations of the primary commercial parking garage, supervise onsite staff (cashiers, maintenance, event attendants, and related roles), enforce revenue controls and proper ticket handling, prepare daily, monthly, and yearly revenue reporting, adjust parking rates as needed based on market conditions, manage transient and event parking, drive new business growth in the area, ensure facilities open/close on schedule, conduct regular site walk-throughs for safety and policy compliance, inspect facilities with emphasis on customer service and cleanliness, coordinate with clients and tenants, resolve operational issues, train and develop staff, and maintain professional relationships with clients while ensuring quality control and contract compliance.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10 years of parking experience
- Self-starter eager to chase new business
- Great communication skills
- Ability to work nights and weekends when necessary
- Self-disciplined
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Able to pass drug and background test
- Must be able to work outdoors for long periods of time
- Strong analytical and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and must be detail-oriented and extremely well organized
- Work five days per week, ten hours a day
- Understand and able to use the current and proposed equipment and any other equipment used in the parking operation
- Must have strong working knowledge of the use, repair, programming, limitations and capabilities of the parking
- College Degree and Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Physical Requirements: Carrying, lifting, pulling or pushing items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Frequently standing up and moving about the facility
- Frequently handling objects and equipment to maintain the facility
