Job Summary
Control vehicle access, verify tour credentials, and monitor pedestrian entry while maintaining situational awareness of assigned parking areas. Assist with traffic flow during ingress and egress, provide directions to building occupants, and enforce event procedures. Resolve conflicts and direct occupants in emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for production teams. Work quickly to expedite arena access and remain alert in high-traffic, loud, and fluctuating temperature conditions. Commit to 70% event availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays, while adhering to strict post protocols.
Required Qualifications
- 70% event availability commitment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, inclusive of weekends, nights, and holidays as required
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain alert, professional, and composed during high-traffic events
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Proficiency with the use of Google Docs and Excel spreadsheets for scheduling purposes
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to work extended periods with moderate to loud noises
- Able to work in an environment with fluctuating temperatures that include hot and cold conditions—external and internal facility exposure
- Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting personal schedules and extending hours to meet event staffing needs
- Frequent bending, standing for long periods of time, and walking in the building
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service/security-based industry is preferred
- Previous experience within sports, entertainment, or a related field is preferred
