Job Summary

Direct patrons to parking spots, issue tickets while recording required information, and process exception transactions like lost tickets or grace periods per company policy. Complete daily shift paperwork documenting transactions by rate, vehicle flow, contract parkers, and ticket types. Provide company standards of service to each customer, maintaining uniform appearance, greeting patrons, answering questions, resolving issues, and thanking them upon exit. Occasionally assist with small cleaning or maintenance tasks per checklists and complete assigned special projects. Must be at least 18 years old, available mornings, weekends, evenings, and overnight, with prior customer service experience preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience
  • At least 18 years old
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer
  • Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
  • Available Mornings, Evenings, Overnight
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear
  • Must be able to be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time
  • Must be able to be regularly exposed to fumes and airborne particles
  • Must be able to work according to company policy including completing applicable forms for exception transactions
  • Must be able to complete the daily shift paperwork by recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out of the facility, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, number of validated tickets and exception tickets
  • Must be able to provide the company's standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit
  • Must be able to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to the company's maintenance checklists
  • Must be able to complete other special projects as assigned by location management
  • Must be able to issue tickets to customers, recording the required information on each ticket
  • Must be able to direct patrons where to park
  • Must be able to verify employment eligibility through the federal E-Verify program following acceptance of offer
