Job Summary
Direct patrons where to park and issue tickets to customers, recording required information on each ticket. Process exception transactions like lost or grace period tickets according to company policy, including completing applicable forms. Complete daily shift paperwork by recording transaction counts by parking rate, vehicles in and out, contract parkers, and validated tickets. Provide company standards of service with each customer, maintaining uniform appearance, stating the greeting, answering questions, resolving issues, and thanking customers upon exit. May be asked by local management to complete small cleaning or maintenance tasks and other special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Prior customer service experience
- You are at least 18 years old
- Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate effectively both verbally and through written correspondence
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when working with other employees and the parking customer
- Ability to provide customer resolution in a professional and friendly manner
- Available Mornings, Evenings, Overnight
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands-to-fingers, handle tools or controls, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear
- Must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs
- Must be able to work in weather conditions prevalent at the time
- Must be able to be subjected to fumes and airborne particles
- Must be able to handle noise levels ranging from minimal to moderate
- Must be able to perform small cleaning or maintenance tasks according to company maintenance checklists
- Must be able to complete other special projects as assigned by location management
- Must be able to direct patrons where to park

- Must be able to process exception transactions (e.g., lost tickets, grace period tickets, etc.) according to company policy, including completing the applicable form
- Must be able to complete the daily shift paperwork by recording the number of transactions by parking rate, number of vehicles in and out of the facility, number of contract parkers, vehicles left in the facility, number of validated tickets and exception tickets
- Must be able to provide the company's standards of service with each customer including maintaining the required uniform appearance, stating the company greeting, answering questions, resolving issues and thanking each customer upon exit
Desired Qualifications
- High School degree preferred but not required
- Customer service: 1 year+
