Job Summary
Direct traffic flow, greet guests, scan prepaid passes, collect fees, and inform patrons of current policies and procedures within venue parking areas. Manage entry and exit points while ensuring a safe, clean environment by notifying personnel of specific situations and removing cones and signage after events clear. Maintain knowledge of the venue layout, stand for minimum four-hour shifts, and operate outside in varied weather conditions including heat, cold, humidity, wind, snow, or rain. Schedule includes evenings and weekends for events lasting four to ten hours.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain understanding of venue layout, particularly the parking areas and exits.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to stand throughout the duration of a scheduled shift (minimum 4 hours).
- Ability to bend or twist at the waist to reach and move items at ground level (typically traffic cones or parking signs).
- Must be capable of working outside in a variety of environmental conditions (heat, cold, humidity, high wind, snow, or rain).
- Be available to work scheduled events as needed (includes nights and weekends).
