Job Summary
Secure the community building, grounds, and assets by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring parking zones for rule compliance, and screening unknown visitors. Manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow at points of access, assisting residents with ingress/egress and directing guests to the Reception Desk. Enforce parking rules, issue trespass warnings, and respond to emergency situations or resident elopement per established policies. Conduct routine inspections of company vehicles, perform washing and refueling, and report fire hazards or unsafe conditions. Maintain awareness of banned individuals and prepare incident logs with accuracy. Full-time 40-hour shift Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, at 15 Craigside (Nuuanu).
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Current DCCA Registered Guard Employee status
- Current driver's license
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- One year of related security experience and/or training
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- Ability to regularly sit and talk or hear
- Ability to frequently stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Complete 8 hours of classroom training provided by a Board of Private Detectives and Guards approved instructor using Board approved curricula
- Pass the required test
- Complete 4 hours of on the job training
