Job Summary
Parking and Security Officer I at Arcadia Retirement Residence (Punahou) is responsible for safeguarding residents, employees, and visitors by patrolling the property, monitoring parking areas, and controlling access. You will greet and assist residents and guests, screen visitors, provide directions, enforce safety and wellness protocols, issue trespass warnings when needed, and prepare incident reports. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 18 years old, a DCCA Registered Guard Employee status, and a valid driver’s license, with roughly 40 hours per week on the 10:00 PM–6:00 AM shift (Wednesday–Sunday). Knowledge of security procedures, incident reporting, and customer service is essential, along with the ability to respond appropriately to emergencies and maintain detailed records.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate or equivalent
- 1 year of related security experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- DCCA Registered Guard Employee required
- Current driver’s license required
