Job Summary
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing trash, cigarette butts, debris, and graffiti from both behind-the-scenes areas and guest-facing zones. Sweep park streets, walkways, and attraction areas with a broom and dustpan, while hosing down back areas and patios as needed. Wipe down trash receptacles, tabletops, and counters, and prepare restrooms for daily park opening. Transport trash to compactor areas, separating materials according to recycling rules, and address bio spills using appropriate materials. Provide guest directions and answer questions while enforcing all park policies. Perform other incidental duties assigned by the Park Services Supervisor, including assisting in various departments. Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays, reporting to the Park Services Supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 16 years of age
- Ability to work a flexible shift including nights, weekends and most holidays
- Ability to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to communicate effectively, including reading, writing and speaking
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions while taking precautions, including hydration and sun-protection
- Ability to complete tasks with little supervision and work independently
- Can handle multiple tasks at once with efficient use of time
