Job Summary
Directs recreation activities and operations in the park and in the assigned region surrounding the park if applicable, ensuring excellent customer service to all visitors. Manages lands and facilities for outdoor recreational opportunities, oversees maintenance, recruits and supervises staff, develops and monitors budgets, coordinates human resources and policy, and oversees law enforcement scheduling to ensure adequate coverage for MWCD guests and the public.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in parks and recreation management, natural resources management, a related degree or four (4) or more years of assistant park manager experience or related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and/or training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
