Job Summary
Instruct Parenting Today (BEHS 343) on-site in Hagerstown, MD, using an interdisciplinary perspective to apply research and theory in family development. Actively engage students through frequent interaction, guide active collaboration in problem- and project-based learning demonstrations, and provide rich, regular constructive feedback utilizing rubrics for assessment. Demonstrate relevant subject-matter expertise to help students connect concepts across their academic program, while providing feedback to the program chair on possible curricular improvements. Complete the mandatory two-week online new faculty orientation as a condition of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Master's in Social Science, or a related field, from an accredited institution of higher learning
- Professional experience in behavioral sciences or related field
- Seeking instructors to teach specifically in Hagerstown, MD
- Each new faculty member is required to successfully complete our online two-week new faculty orientation, FacDev 411, as a condition of hire
