Job Summary
Coordinating and delivering parenting support services to families experiencing poverty, including managing childcare plans for up to 24 families, conducting home visits and group sessions, and growing the program through community outreach. Responsibilities include coordinating childcare partnerships, assisting families with subsidies and benefits, maintaining documentation and databases, planning group learning sessions, onboarding staff/volunteers, and collaborating with community partners. The role requires flexible scheduling (evenings/weekends), experience with early childhood development, strong organizational and communication skills, bilingual abilities preferred, and a valid driver’s license for local travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, human services, or related field OR
- Associate’s degree in human service-related field and 1 to 2 years’ experience working with direct client/family interaction OR
- High school diploma and 2 to 4 years’ experience working with direct client/family interaction
- Experience working with low-income children and parents
- Experience coordinating schedules, services, groups, or program operations preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Background clearance required
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with mandatory reporting requirements
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
