Parent Support Outreach Program (PSOP) Family Service Worker

The Family Partnership is seeking a PSOP Family Service Worker to provide 1:1 coaching, in-home parenting support, and case management to families, with responsibilities including budgeting and financial literacy education, linking families to community resources, coordinating with educational and employment services, and advocating for services to reduce risk of out-of-home placement. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate case files, developing partnerships with mentoring, education, and employment providers, intervening in crises, managing flex fund expenditures with supervisor approval, documenting billable activities, and supporting families in achieving educational and economic goals. The role supports families in pursuing high school completion or GED attainment, helping clients access resources, and coordinating with community partners to address basic needs and child health and safety. Qualifications emphasize a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred) and a minimum of two years’ experience in education/employment coaching and financial empowerment for low-income individuals; a valid Minnesota driver’s license or reliable transportation is required. The position is based in the Minneapolis, MN area, with on-site work expectations and a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
