Job Summary
Provide intensive, face-to-face in-home services to children, parents, and families involved in Family Preservation, Foster Care, and Adoption Services. Develop treatment plans with the family, caseworkers, and community service providers while participating in PMTO Certification Training. Build strong relationships with families and community professionals, ensuring comprehensive care through active roles in team meetings. Engage in PMTO group and individual coaching to continuously improve skills, including video-taping sessions for professional development. Manage a caseload of 6-10 families with a 2-year commitment. Apply feedback to enhance work and maintain case documentation and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in a field licensable by the KS BSRB
- Licensure by the Kansas BSRB
- At least 21 years old
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of 6-10 families
- Non-judgmental, flexible, and creative approach to working with troubled families
- Willingness to embrace new strategies, including video-taping your sessions for professional development
- Ability to receive feedback and apply it to improve your work
- 2 year commitment to project
