Parent Educator - Texas Home Visiting Program

Job Summary
Conduct intensive case management services for at-risk families by utilizing the Safecare curriculum, administering intake assessments, and establishing individualized goals. Provide parent and health education, resource referrals, and basic needs support while maintaining compliance with established program standards and grant deliverables. Deliver services to a caseload of 12 cases monthly, meeting clients at least twice per month, and ensure all documentation is updated within 24 to 48 hours across Salesforce, PEIRS, and SafeCare software. Collaborate with the Family Resource Center monthly and attend required trainings to maintain certification.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in a related field
- Current licenses and certificates required for the position including but not limited to: First Aid
- Current licenses and certificates required for the position including but not limited to: CPR
- Certification in SafeCare curriculum administration per National SafeCare Research and Training Center guidelines
- Ability to respond sensitively and competently to the service population's cultural and socio-economic characteristics
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position
- Ability to work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to manage time effectively and efficiently
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens
- Ability to maintain emotional control, and professional composure at all times
- Proof of work eligibility status
- Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background and motor vehicle check
- COVID vaccination and an annual Influenza vaccination or obtain an approved exemption
- Authorization to work for ANY employer in the U.S.
