Job Summary
Provide CNA support to special needs students and manage classroom behaviors while maintaining order and safety. Implement behavioral program policies, report concerns to staff, and respond to emergency situations or incidents of non-compliance. Assist instructors with targeted teaching and general supervision of students inside the school setting, ensuring quick, independent, and tactful intervention. Maintain alertness for disruptions and correct conditions that pose safety concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Certified CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or Medical Assistant Experience
- Diapering/Toileting Assistance
- Experience in using a Hoyer Lift
- Able to work with high-risk special needs students
- Ability to operate tactfully under stress
- Flexibility to change in routines
- At least 23 years of age
