Job Summary
Paraprofessional/Teacher's Assistant at Marklund Day School (Geneva, IL) supporting students with profound disabilities in a year-round day program. Responsibilities include assisting teachers with classwork and daily care, providing direct care to students, documenting goals and daily participation per IEPs, working one-on-one and in groups, maintaining a safe classroom environment, and completing PCM training. Hourly wage ranges from $20 with no experience to $23.50 with 5+ years of paraprofessional experience (with Bachelor's Degree rates similarly tiered at $21-$23.50). Hours are 8:15 AM–3:15 PM, Monday–Friday; full-time roles include comprehensive benefits. The role requires an Illinois Paraprofessional Educator license (can be obtained after hire) and a high school diploma or GED.
