Job Summary
Paraprofessional (Temporary) to assist the teacher by performing planned instructional support tasks, material preparation, supervision, and clerical duties to support a quality educational program. Responsibilities include preparing materials, coordinating space for instructional activities, following teacher plans, supervising students, maintaining records and confidentiality, assisting with assessments and data collection, supporting diverse learners, communicating with parents and staff, and adhering to district policies. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant certificates/licenses, with CDA as applicable, and the ability to meet district certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate and/or an AA/AS/AAS degree or minimum of 60 college credit hours
- Possess Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate if required
- Or other appropriate certificates/licenses required by the District
