Job Summary
Support lead teachers with lesson delivery, classroom activities, and transitions while providing small-group and individualized support to reinforce skills and reteach concepts. Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, and dismissal to ensure safety, and assist with behavior management and expectations. Prepare instructional materials, help with grading and documentation, and substitute for lead teachers as needed. This role includes a salary of $15–$17 per hour and requires a high school diploma or equivalent with successful completion of a paraprofessional exam.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent and successful completion of a paraprofessional exam
- Associate's degree or higher
- Prior experience working with children in a school setting
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and demonstrate initiative
- Arkansas State Background Check
- Child Maltreatment Central Registry Check
- Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) required background clearance and fingerprinting

- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience working in Title I or diverse school environments
