Job Summary
Paraprofessional at Lakewood High School for the 2026-2027 school year with duties including supporting study hall, assisting with medical/health-related tasks when needed (lifting, toileting, feeding), and adhering to ESSA requirements. Candidates must have or obtain an Ohio education aide permit and meet ESSA qualifications (48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours, or an Associate’s Degree, or complete the Ohio Para Assessment). Scheduling limited to not more than 3 paid hours per day, with supervision by the building principal or designee.
Required Qualifications
- Education aide permit from the Ohio Department of Education
- Meet ESSA requirements: 48 semester hours or 72 quarter hours or at least an Associate's Degree or successfully completed the Ohio Para Assessment
- May be required to perform medical/health-related procedures (training provided)
