Job Summary
Paraprofessional to assist students in academic growth under the direction of teachers and Special Education professionals. Provides support to create a safe and respectful learning environment, maintains student confidentiality, and assists with classroom activities. Requires 60 college credits (or equivalent) and successful completion of a para pro test, plus a pre-employment background check and PCA certification during the 90-day probationary period. Position is 29 hours/week (Mon-Thu, occasional Friday) at Tower Soudan Elementary School in Tower, MN, with hourly wages $17.72-$20.41.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold 60 college credits from an accredited institute or successfully complete a para pro test with a passing score
- Must complete pre-employment background check
- Must complete a PCA certification during the 90-day probationary period
